Cloud Providers Now Required to Pay a Royalty to Meta

Recently Mark Zuckerberg said that big cloud-computing companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, who want to use and sell Llama 2 to their customers, should pay Meta a portion of the money they make from it. At first, Meta said they would offer Llama 2 for free, but now they changed their mind and want to make money from it.

Even though Meta is making Llama 2's technology available for free to the public, they want these big companies to have a special agreement with them to use it in their services.

StackOverflow Announcement!

StackOverflow is making big changes by using artificial intelligence (AI) to help developers find solutions to their problems. They want to make search smarter, so it can understand what developers need better. They also plan to use AI to improve their team collaboration platform and help developers in their coding tools. The AI will use the knowledge from millions of questions and answers on StackOverflow to provide accurate solutions. They want to make sure developers can trust the AI's output and that the community is still at the center of everything they do. They will be testing these AI-powered features and listening to feedback from developers to make improvements. It's an exciting new step for StackOverflow!

AutogenAI Makes Savvy Business People Irrelevant, Here's How

AutogenAI is a startup from London using AI to help businesses write better proposals and win more deals. They got $22.3 million in investment and have already gained 28 clients in less than a year. Their tool saves time, improves pitches, and reduces costs for companies.

Google Brings Optimus Prime to Life

Google has created a new AI model called Robotics Transformer 2 (RT-2) that can help robots learn tasks like throwing out trash. This model uses information and images from the internet to teach the robot how to do things. For example, it helps the robot recognize what trash looks like, pick it up, and throw it away.

The new model is much better than the previous one, as it can handle new situations and even respond to user commands. While Google doesn't have immediate plans to sell robots with this technology, it could be used in the future for tasks like working in warehouses or helping out at home.
